When your child or teen is struggling with anxiety or OCD, it can feel all‑consuming
Maybe your child is constantly worried or asking for reassurance. Maybe they struggle in social situations, can’t be apart from you, are frozen by perfectionism, or experience stomachaches or panic attacks.
All this anxiety has led to increased avoidance and you worry your child’s world is getting smaller.
Or maybe your child has intrusive thoughts and engages in rituals like compulsive checking or washing. They may ask you to participate in rituals or provide repeated reassurance (“Are you sure you locked the door?”).
In an effort to help, you might adjust family routines or avoid situations that trigger their distress.
You want to help your child feel better, but avoiding triggers and giving reassurance doesn’t seem to work, and the cycle keeps growing.
You’re not alone in this – and with the right support, these patterns can change
We know how challenging this is, and we know how to help.
Using evidence-based treatments tailored to your child’s strengths and needs, we help young people:
respond differently to anxiety and OCD
build confidence and resilience
gradually face challenges in a supported way
So they can find relief, reduce avoidance, and re-engage in the experiences that matter most.

Meet Erin
Erin Harley, PhD, MA, LMHCA
Hi, I'm a cognitive psychologist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in WA State. I specialize in helping children, teens, and young adults find relief from anxiety and OCD using evidence-based treatments. I'll help you or your child respond differently to anxiety and OCD so they have less power over daily life—making room for greater confidence, flexibility, and engagement in what matters most.
As a mom of two, I understand how hard it can be to watch your child struggle with anxiety and not know how to best support them. In addition to working directly with young people, I'm passionate about helping parents build practical skills that support progress at home and create lasting change.
I bring warmth, humor, empathy, and a direct, down-to-earth approach to therapy. If you're wondering whether this kind of support could help, I'd love to connect and explore whether we're a good fit.
